Arm and Inner Thigh Lift

Following significant weight loss, the skin and soft tissues of the arm and inner thigh can become loose and sag. Many patients do not like the appearance of the excess, sagging skin and are self-conscious about their arms and inner thighs. The excess skin may also be problematic as the arm can rub on the side of the chest and the inner thighs can rub together. Arm lift (brachioplasty) and inner thigh lift can improve the appearance and reduce the rubbing of the arms and inner thighs by removing this excess skin and improving the contour.

Brow Lift

Brow lift is a procedure that elevates the eyebrows and reduces the appearance of forehead wrinkles. An incision is made in the scalp to allow for elevation of the eyebrows. The forehead skin is tightened and the excess skin excised. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a procedure that improves the appearance of the nose. The procedure can be performed closed (without an external incision) or open (with a small external incision). A variety of techniques can be used to alter different aspects of the nose. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and the length of the procedure varies. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later.

Ear Surgery

Ear surgery, or Otoplasty, is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the ear. People with protruding or enlarged ears may be self-conscious about the appearance of their ears, and sometimes are teased as children. Often patients have improved self-confidence following otoplasty. Dr. Martin’s experience allows him to achieve a natural, improved appearance of the ear.

Breast Lift

Mastopexy is a procedure that lifts the nipple and breast tissue. Incisions are made around the areola and on the lower portion of the breast either in a vertical line or upside down T. Sometimes a breast implant is used at the same time to improve the overall shape or to increase the size of the breast. This procedure is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes 2 hours. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later. A surgical garment is worn for several weeks following surgery.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is a procedure that reduces the size of the breast and lifts the nipple. Incisions are made around the areola and on the lower portion of the breast either in a vertical line or upside down T. Breast tissue is removed to reduce the size and weight of the breasts. This procedure is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes 2.5 hours to perform. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later. A surgical garment is worn for several weeks following surgery.

Liposuction

Liposuction involves passing a cannula (thin tube) back and forth beneath the skin to remove excess fat. Liposuction can be performed on a variety of different areas of the body to remove localized deposits of fat. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. The length of surgery varies. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later. A compression garment is worn for several weeks after surgery.

Buttock and Outer Thigh Lift

Buttock and outer thigh lift is a procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper buttock and lateral thigh. An incision is made at the junction of the lower back and buttock to excise the excess skin and fat and lift the buttock and lateral aspect of the thigh. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 3 hours to perform. Patients go home the day of surgery and follow up with Dr. Martin several days later. A surgical garment is worn for several weeks following surgery.

Botox

Dr. Martin offers non-surgical options for patients that want to reduce facial wrinkles. Botox® is a neuromodulator that weakens facial muscle contracture thereby reducing fine lines. Dr. Martin performs this treatment in his private office.

Dermal Fillers

Dr. Martin offers non-surgical options for patients that want to reduce facial wrinkles. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm® can be used to reduced the appearance of facial wrinkles or to augment certain areas of the face, such as the lips. Dr. Martin performs this treatment in his private office.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a procedure that improves the appearance of your upper or lower eyelids. The goal of eyelid surgery is to achieve a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance of the eye. Upper blepharoplasty is a different surgical procedure from lower blepharoplasty but often both procedures can be performed at the same time.
